Bonjour, I'm Claire, and I've been a French language tutor for 26 years.Originally from Paris and now based in Leicestershire, I started teaching French on a professional basis when I moved to the UK in 1997.
After running several after-school clubs in local primary schools, I moved on to training adults in conversational French, as well as holding business French training courses in various companies across the Midlands. |

I like the way I feel like I’m just having a chat with a friend most of the time and the exercises we do have a lot of humour in them so I can laugh and learn at the same time. Everything seems relevant to modern day life too. I am learning so many expressions that are “truly French” rather than things I just learned for exams. Also I like the way repetition is used to learn certain expressions. |
I really value your lessons and there are glimpses where I can form a few sentences or a paragraph and use various tenses, which I find really rewarding and exhilarating. |
