Introducing our BRAND NEW Speak French Like a Native series!
These ebooks have been developed by myself after years of helping students achieve their goals, be it learn for pleasure, go and live in France or pass an exam. Each one is based on the "bare-boned" approach I teach in my one-to-one courses - it only includes what you really need to be able to SPEAK the language and no more. Also, I made sure these were written for the layperson!
Students get all the booklets FREE with my one-to-one courses, but you can purchase them below if you want to self-study or just need a revision guide.
Speak French Like a Native - The 12 Golden Rules of French - FREE download Introduction to French, grammar and the common traps for English speakers
This booklet is suitable for GSCE/A-level students who need to revise the basics, as well as complete beginners.
It includes an explanation about masculine and feminine words, the best way to say We and You, how to guess the meaning of words, how to ask/answer questions the easy way, how to create French words rather than just guess, how to approach verbs as well as the basic grammar jargon you need to learn proper French, plus a note on typography rules for those who need to type in French.
Speak French Like a Native - Verbs and Tenses - £12 Includes Verbs & Tenses manual, plus Exercises and Verb Tables
These manuals are suitable for GSCE/A-level students who need to revise the main tenses, as well as anyone, including complete beginners, who wants to understand how to put together a sentence in the right form and the right tense.
The Manual contains the 6 main French tenses you need to speak French, how to construct them with examples and tables for the 7 most useful irregular verbs (être, avoir, aller, faire, pouvoir, prendre and venir). I explain everything you need to know about verbs and what to do with them. You will also get a guide about when to use which tense. The Exercises contain 3 different daily routines in the main 4 tenses (the only ones you would ever use in that situation) and encourage you to write your own by giving you a list of sentences to use as a template. You can even email me your own routine and I will provide one correction! Plus, you also get a quick revision chart with a few sentences in all 6 tenses. The Verb Table includes a spreadsheet of the 90 most commonly used verbs in order of frequency, their translation and some examples in the Present, Perfect, Imperfect and Future tenses. You will also get a list of the most commonly misused verbs and expressions in everyday conversation (26 altogether). As a bonus, I have also included a list of difficult structures for you to learn.
